<![CDATA[Guisnel Group, a European leader in furniture transport, offers its customers a comprehensive range of services around the world of the home, ranging from the delivery of furniture to the hire of industrial vehicles. To improve the management of the supply chain operations for its 7 depots and its head office, the company wished to modernise its fleet of traceability tools. Hub One, provider of information and communication technology services in professional environments, has therefore equipped Guisnel Group with 65 Zebra TC8000 handheld touchscreen terminals to meet these needs.
A company hailing from the Ille-et-Vilaine department of Brittany, Guisnel Group was looking to obtain high-performance and long-lasting equipment capable of managing the business volumes of its depots. Hub One, in its capacity as integrator, provided technical support and advice for Guisnel Group, for optimising its supply chain activities.
The choice was made for the TC8000 solution from Zebra, which benefits from an Android interface and comes with the Velocity app from Ivanti. This system is therefore able to be adapted to the various business needs of Guisnel Group by enabling, for example, the management of goods reception, stock movements, loading, and inventories: all on a single terminal. Furthermore, this touchscreen solution is particularly intuitive, making it easy for operators to use.
Thanks to the reliable, user-friendly and scalable solution deployed by Hub One, Guisnel Group has been able to observe the following benefits:
- Increased productivity
- Consolidated usages (goods management, time management, calculator, etc.) on a single terminal
- Improved operator comfort thanks to a lighter terminal and high-performance, latest-generation optics for reading codes in the different operational contexts
- Quicker integration of new employees, the solution being so intuitive
« Hub One was able to understand our problem and offer us bespoke solutions allowing us to optimise our supply chain activities and, in this way, best meet the requirements of our customers. Our employees were able to get to grips very quickly with the new traceability terminals, and reap the benefits in their day-to-day work, with a bespoke service contract proposal addressing the need for the high availability, » declares Nicolas Ridard, CIO, Guisnel Group.
« Our expertise, allied with the know-how of our partners, Zebra and Ivanti, enabled us to address the technical needs of Guisnel Group. In our determination to provide close support to our clients in their projects to transform and modernise their supply chain processes, we are keen to propose to companies reliable and innovative equipment that meets their needs and usages, » states Christophe Laroche, sales engineer for the Mobility Business Unit at Hub One.]]>
