Hub One organises a webinar on the topic: "Phone calls over Wi-Fi: at last the solution to the problems of indoor mobile coverage?" – Wednesday 25 October 2017 at 11:30 AM

<![CDATA[Hub One, provider of information and communication technology services in professional environments, is organising a webinar entitled: “Phone calls over Wi-Fi: at last the solution to the problems of indoor mobile coverage?”. Jean-Christophe Budin, Wi-Fi Product Line Manager, will review the advantages offered by Wi-Fi as a communication channel.

Today, companies need to be capable of proposing solutions for their employees to communicate seamlessly. However, the GSM coverage and 3G/4G networks of companies do not always make it possible to benefit from optimal network coverage and connections. Yet many technologies do exist to mitigate this deficiency.
Phone calls or Voice over Wi-Fi offer the possibility of communicating without a mobile network, wherever you may be. It can serve as a reliable and efficient alternative in the dead zones that may be encountered by employees on the move or inside buildings. In this webinar, Hub One will be looking at concrete cases of use of voice calls over Wi-Fi and the advantages that companies can obtain by using this technology.
On the programme:

 • What is Voice over Wi-Fi for making phone calls?
 • How does it work? What are its uses?
 • Can any Wi-Fi network support this technology?
 • What are its benefits and limits compared to mobile operator solutions?
