Room 342 A – Level 3 – Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot, Paris

The SIMI exhibition is a benchmark event for real estate players in France. Running from 6 to 8 December 2017, it brings together more than 28,000 professionals, 450 companies and local authorities, representing the entire real estate and land sector, and all services associated with corporate real estate. At this year’s exhibition, the BTC (“Connected Buildings & Territories”) Forum will be proposing a conference cycle highlighting the profound technological changes that are making their mark in the construction, energy and IT sectors.

In this context, Hub One, provider of information and communication technology services in professional environments, and Oteis, the Building and Infrastructures engineering group, will bring their expertise to bear on the importance and the challenges of indoor mobile coverage at the conference entitled: “When real estate and telecoms work in concert to achieve good mobile coverage inside buildings“.

At this conference, chaired by Ariel Gomez, Publication Director of SMART CITY MAG, Hub One will suggest concrete responses to the current network problems encountered by infrastructure managers. François Munerot, Radio Engineering Manager, and Jérémy Blanchemain, Radio deployment engineer at Hub One, will be taking a look at the solutions that currently exist for meeting the challenge of dead zones inside buildings. Cases of usage and lessons learnt will also be presented, with the participation of Rafi Kouyoumdjian, CEO of Oteis.

Regularly faced with connectivity issues in its projects (buildings subject to environmental quality standards, high-rise buildings, etc.), Oteis will be bringing its vision of design office engineering and the experience of Rafi Kouyoumdjian, who has already worked at the helm of some major telecom companies (former CEO of Tiscali France-LibertySurf, NextiraOne).

“New buildings are living spaces in which the challenge of digital usages and connectivity is a major issue. My long personal experience in telecoms allied with the unique know-how of Oteis in the building industry led me to approach Hub One so that together we can provide a response to the problems of indoor mobile coverage” declares Rafi Kouyoumdjian, CEO of Oteis.
